Beer Festival Calendar 2026-2027: Official Dates

Next beer festivals: Bière à Lille runs from 2 to 8 November 2026, Beerdays in Rouen from 6 to 8 November, and the Christmas Beer Festival in Essen, Belgium, on 12 and 13 December. In 2027, Munich’s Oktoberfest runs from 18 September to 3 October. Every date below comes from the organiser, the city or the tourist office, with a link. When an edition has no official dates yet, we say so instead of guessing.

October 2026 to September 2027

Autumn and winter 2026

Stuttgart’s Cannstatter Volksfest closes on 11 October 2026. Our Stuttgart beer festival guide covers the tents, bookings and how it differs from Munich.

In early November, two French festivals overlap. Bière à Lille fills the week of 2 to 8 November with events in bars around Lille, then ends with the Grand Final at Gare Saint-Sauveur (Saturday 7 November, 1 pm to 9 pm, and Sunday 8 November, 12 pm to 7 pm), with more than 70 breweries announced. Beerdays takes place from 6 to 8 November at the Rouen exhibition centre, inside the Salon Gourmand food fair; entry is €8.

On 12 and 13 December 2026, the O.B.E.R. association holds its Christmas Beer Festival at the Heuvelhal in Essen, north of Antwerp, with about 200 Belgian Christmas and winter beers. Our guide to French and Belgian Christmas beers covers the main ones. Tickets are sold online in advance; on Saturday evening from 6 pm you can still pay at the door.

If you planned to attend the Fête des Bières in Nancy in October, note that it has moved to spring. The organisers now hold it right after the trade show: next edition on 2 and 3 April 2027.

2027: Munich has its dates, most others don’t yet

Munich’s 192nd Oktoberfest runs from Saturday 18 September to Sunday 3 October 2027 on the Theresienwiese. According to the City of Munich, entry to the grounds and the tents is free. Stuttgart’s spring festival, the Frühlingsfest, runs from 17 April to 9 May 2027.

The Saint-Malo Craft Beer Expo returns from 19 to 21 March 2027 for its 10th anniversary. The Paris Beer Festival, the Schiltigheim beer festival, the Saint-Quentin Beer Festival and the Cannstatter Volksfest have not published their 2027 dates yet. The Town of Schiltigheim says its festival is held every year on the first weekend of August.

How we keep this calendar

A date only goes into this table once we have read it on the organiser’s, the city’s or the tourist office’s website. Event listing sites often copy last year’s dates, so we don’t use them as a source. That check is how we found that Nancy’s Fête des Bières, still listed for October 2026 on several agendas, has changed season. Before booking travel, check the official link anyway: organisers can move or cancel an edition.
