🧭 Tasting and serving
Augustiner Edelstoff is a Premium Munich Helles measured at 5.6% ABV, 20 IBU, 8 EBC. The beer comes from Augustiner-Bräu Wagner, in Bavaria, Germany. In the glass, it pours brilliant gold, dense white head; the nose offers rich biscuit malt, slightly honeyed, noble hops; the body comes across malty and complex, round, Bavarian elegance, more body; it ends long, smooth, refined. Its 8 EBC puts it in the pale gold range, and 20 IBU translates to restrained bitterness. It is best served at 5–7°C in an Edelstoff glass and commonly sold in 330ml. Classic pairings include Schweinshaxe, Weisswurst, Pretzel and Aged Camembert.
